The videos from the "Stop Open Borders" event, hosted by the Gray Republican Committee and co-sponsored by 44 additional co-sponsors, are online!

The program featured Rep. Larry Lockman as the Keynote Speaker, as well as Border Patrol agent Robert McArdle as the second speaker, and the Gray Republican Committee Chair, Peter Falkenberg Brown, as the intro speaker. In addition, Dr. Demi Kouzounas, the Chair of the Maine GOP, gave a Special Report.

Next CCRC General Meeting

Our next CCRC General Meeting is on Tuesday, Sep 21. 5:45 p.m. Social / 6:30 p.m. Meeting. Free Refreshments in back of room.

Standish Municipal Office, Rte 35, 175 Northeast Road, Standish
(From Rte 25, drive on Rte 35 toward Windham. Town hall is a short distance on the right.)


* The focus of the meeting will be to "unpack" Question 1 on the ballot on November 2nd. We'll have speakers presenting some excellent analysis about the issues. This is a "you'll want to attend" meeting! As a reference, Question 1 states:

Citizen Initiative
"Do you want to ban the construction of high-impact electric transmission lines in the Upper Kennebec Region and to require the Legislature to approve all other such projects anywhere in Maine, both retroactively to 2020, and to require the Legislature, retroactively to 2014, to approve by a two-thirds vote such projects using public land?"
