Freedom of Silence: De Tocqueville Was Right
~ a poem
Free to speak, but not to dissent,
Lest the ravages of popular ire draw.
Loathsome revenge by hurled epithet;
Grinds thinkers to cud in its maw.
Good-hearted Liberals are #WalkingAway
An excellent article by Kira Davis:
"Progressives Are Determined To Make Conservatives Out of Perfectly Fine Liberals"
"The progressive left should be very careful. Look to Dave Rubin for what can happen to a person’s mindset when they are constantly and unfairly admonished for having independent thoughts. The space to the right of center is filled with people just like Rubin. I am one of them."
Ben Shapiro's 10 Reasons to Vote Republican in November
~ This is a MUST, MUST watch video
If the Senate and House are lost to Democrats, America may be lost—or at least tragically damaged. Just remember the damage done in eight years of Obama's Rule. Yes, Trump can veto laws, but the damage done in the next two years by a Democrat majority will be severe.
The Left's Smear Tactics Were Grown in Soviet Russia
Freedom-loving people cannot permit the Left to turn America into a Totalitarian State
A Soviet directive:
"Members and front organizations must continually embarrass, discredit and degrade our critics. When obstructionists become too irritating, label them as fascist or Nazi or anti-Semitic."
Vote for Kavanaugh!
He has an exemplary judiciary temperament that the founding fathers would have taken great pride in, and he is exactly the kind of person Americans can trust to interpret the Constitution based on the letter of the law, and protect the rights of all Americans. Kavanaugh is the exact type of constitutional jurist Trump promised to nominate. Promises made, promises kept.
The Portland Press Herald Got it Wrong on the Crowdfunding “Bribe” of Senator Collins
The Portland Press Herald recent editorial on Senator Collins missed the mark. The Editorial board wrote, “A crowdfunding campaign sends the same message that wealthy donors deliver via PACs,” comparing campaign donations and legitimate political operations to this crowdfunding threat, citing it to be a First Amendment Right.
Letter to the Editor on Ellie Espling
The Honorable Ellie Espling is a powerful candidate for the Maine Senate and I hope that people support her bid for Senate the way that she has supported the people of her Maine House District.
Saving Western Civilization Demands that We Study Islam
~ Presenting a simple resource guide to gain a clear understanding of the REAL Islam
If Islam were “just a religion,” studying it would not be necessary unless one simply wanted to learn about the religion.

However, Islam is not just a religion. It is also a political ideology that when put into practice results in loss of freedom, violence, and ultimately mass slavery of its populations. To many, this statement may seem “intolerant.” However, those who study Islam in depth, without apology for Islam, and those who study Islam’s historical record, will indeed find that Islam poses an existential threat to free civilizations.

This does not mean that “Muslims are bad.” That would be bigotry...
The False Promises of Minimum Wage Increases
~ written in April, 2017
While well-intentioned people may desire to raise the minimum wage thinking it will benefit workers, and while those currently holding minimum wage positions may be temporarily helped by the immediate increase in pay, the following are some of the undesirable results of the minimum wage increase.
Not Everyone Benefits From Medicaid Expansion
~ Originally published in the Portland Press Herald in October, 2017
Several recent editorials praise this November’s ballot initiative to extend Medicaid (MaineCare) benefits to working-age, non-disabled, childless adults earning up to 138% of the federal poverty level (FPL). Writers foresee better access to healthcare, lives saved, and an economic boom resulting from increased hospital jobs. However, expansion will not benefit everyone. It will hurt some it purports to help.

VOTE NO on Question 1 - a 3.8% Tax
Question 1 is not about caring for seniors. It’s about selling a scheme to them, funneling money to special interests and driving highly paid professionals, like doctors and engineers, out of Maine.
