Maine GOP Launches 2015 Winter Internship Program

The party looks to build upon the successes of last years’ internship

Augusta– Maine Republican Party Executive Director Jason Savage announced today that the party is looking for motivated college students for its 2015 Winter Internship program.

In 2014, over 35 individuals interned for the party, which is the largest in the state party’s history. The Maine GOP looks to build upon on the previous years’ successes while enhancing the overall work experience for the interns.

“Our internship has a proven track record of success and we’re created a detailed training program to enhance the internship for 2015” said Mr. Savage. “Students who believe in limited government, individual liberty, and free markets should apply for our internship and become a part of our effort to build a more free and prosperous Maine.”

Currently, the Maine GOP has partnered with Colby College, the University of Maine at Farmington, Thomas College, and the University of Maine at Orono to offer academic credit for this internship. Interns will also receive bi-weekly monetary stipends.
